Not my favorite thing to do by a mile and a half.... Im a much better artist than a DJ, cross that one off the possible careers list... Anyways link to listen.
I decided to go with kind of a travelling/street vibe for this one because of the variety of sounds you can get from travelling different ways. I put on some high heels and walked across my hardwood floor for the walking noise, set off my own car alarm, honked my horn, recorded the ignition and sufficiently annoyed most of my neighbors. I recorded some door noises and other strange things from buses and the light rail and i cant really tell you which all ended up in there... Then i waited around for an ambulance or a police car to pass by my apartments, i ended up with both because the police station, fire station and hospital are right in my area i couldnt tell ya which one ended up in here either... Then i recorded my own voice saying words that seemed to fit with the theme (idk i thought it added something) and ridiculously distorted it so it didnt sound like i was actually talking to you. I also created a bass like sound by hitting my leather couch and the beeping at the beginning is this really annoying noise my computer likes to make when i touch my touch pad volume control and it drives me nuts..So ya thats that. Still not my favorite project, and while the software gave me no problems at all i would go back to illustrator before i do this again.... meh.

So Much to Blog About....
Now let me start at the beginning.
First of all, this entire weekend was the Fall Frenzy Festival at Tempe Beach Park hosted by 96.9 and 103.9 radio stations and i happened to attend the saturday night show. The lineup included Authority Zero, Asher Roth, Anberlin, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, and Fall Out Boy with Blink-182, newly reunited for this summer's tour as the Headliner. While the first 5 bands were not hard on the ears they were not anything special, Anberlin, which is a favorite band of mine seemed to have some sound problems which was disappointing, and Pepper's lead singer was quite the jokester and was at the least entertaining. But when night fell and Fall Out Boy came on stage, the show really started. They played all their hits which is always great as well as some of the music on their new album. Blink-182 in a similar fashion was very clean, rocked hard, and all of their music is great so i really enjoyed myself, Tom was also his own comedy show all night long and he really added to the show, just another reason to love blink. Overall it was a great show and if they ever come back i will definitely be attending.
Also saturday night, ASU beat Louisiana Monroe 38-14 and are now 2-0. Go Devils lets keep it up!
So i saw the movie 9 sunday afternoon, yes a whole week late on this one, but it was a great movie. It had many intricacies that you would have missed if you werent paying attention and I'm sure many kids missed. While slightly dreary and depressing it had a great story and as far as Tim Burton films go it wasn't TOO out there. Definitely recommended. Btw #7, the only girl, is a badass. :P
Bad news, Seahawks lost for the first time this season to the 49ers, 10-23. Were now 1-1 and our QB Matt Hasselbeck may have re-injured his back which kept him out of most of last season but thats still questionable...
But ya, quite the weekend, now back to school.... boo.

Survivor Samoa
Tomorrow night Survivor's 19th season in the Samoan islands starts. Russell is the supposed trouble maker so keep an eye out for his scheming. If youre a fan or have never seen the show before then give it a watch on CBS Thursday Sept 17th.

Great Big Brother Season Finale :D
Last night on the Big Brother season 11 the sweetest, cutest and most innocent girl to ever play the game of big brother (in my opinion) won the half a million dollar prize by a vote of 5-2. After a ridiculously controversial and wacky season I couldn't have been happier that she won. Natalie, from our own ASU, won second place and $50,000, and Jordan's best friend and house crush Jeff the won America's Favorite Player prize of $25,000 which i was pretty much a no brainer but still awesome.
Mark my words i will be on this show one day. Next summer i plan on trying out and i can only hope I do as well.

Vector Project (x2)
So i was working on the second image yesterday and liked it so i thought I'd throw it in here. Anyways, explanation for each one. The "dark" image is fairly self explanatory, the background is black to simulate darkness and there is a moon that is lighting up a small part of the floor and also the corners of the room. And then i put the word dark in a gray color and in the corner of the room because i feel like darkness hides in the corners during most of the day. This was my attempt to "simplify."
As for the other one, all the small things by blink 182 happened to come up on my ipod and i felt like i could work well abstractly with the words in that phrase. So i put in a lot of the word all, invoking the thought "look at all the alls" and then i made "the small things" very small, for obvious reasons. And because the whole phrase says "All the small things" i have a mountain of the word things that are all small in size with a few more falling into the mountain from above.
